
King Von was actually Dayvon Daquan Bennett. He was born in Chicago on the 9th of August 1994 to Walter and Taesha. His mother was a single parent. He had three siblings. Meanwhile, the father had six half-siblings. Since his father was spending so long in prison, Bennett was mostly taken care of by his mom. He was 11 when his father was shot and killed. Bennett aged 16 when he was detained for the first time. This was not one of the many times he had to go against the law. He was awarded college credit through South Suburban College. In order to get back on track after further legal issues, Bennett began pursuing his professional career in music and collaborating often with fellow rapper Lil Durk.Although "Welcome to O'Block" was the only album that studio Von made during his life the posthumous album "What It Means to be King" was released posthumously in the month of March 2022.
