Paula Patton is an actress and producer best known for her leading roles in the action movie Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and the romantic film Precious. As a child with her family in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, the actress had plenty of desires. Her parents were a loving mother, who was a fan of films. Paula was active with her school's cocurricular activities and was particularly drawn to dramatics. Paula loved playing the role of an actor with her classmates and took part in her school's stage productions. She was a part of numerous high school plays at Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to pursue acting as her career. It was an enjoyable summer at University of Southern California. She was awarded an assignment by PBS to create documentaries over 3 months. Her career began as a television production assistant when she completed this assignment. When she was done with her work and completing her documentary, she began producing films. Although she enjoyed what she did however, she always wanted acting roles. She began her journey into acting when she appeared as Will Smith's co-star on romantic comedy Hitch. In the years since, she's played in numerous popular films and television programs.
