Zoe Saldana's parents, Asalia and Aridio Saldana were born on the 19th June, 1978 in Passaic New Jersey. Her father was Dominican and her mother Puerto Rican. She was born in Queens, New York. Her family and she relocated to the Dominican Republic at the age of 10 where they would stay for the rest of seven years. Zoe began to develop a fascination for dancing while within the Republic of Dominicana.
